How to Use Essential oils
It’s easy to use essential oils. You can them aromatically, topically, and internally. Although, if you are not using Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils, do not use internally. The purity of an oil is crucial to it’s effectiveness and safety!
If essential oils are combined with impure properties or toxins the essential oils will carrying that to the cells in your body. Instead of getting the benefits of pure essential oils, you instead be unknowingly poisoning yourself or you assume essential oils do not work.
Diffusing is a great way to receive the benefits of essential oils. Using a cool-mist diffuser is a very common way to use essential oils. Several of Young Living Premium Starter Kits come with a diffuse. Some run up ten hours. Another way to enjoy the oils aromatically is by placing a few drops of essential oil on a cotton balls and place it in the car vent or any place were you want to release the scent. Another option is to add a few drops in the palm of your hand, cup your hands over your mouth and nose and inhale.
Essential oils can be applied behind the ears, on the temples, back of your neck, or on the bottoms of your feet. Practically anyway you’d like to apply the oils. The largest pores are in our feet, so oils enter the bloodstream quickly using this method. Essential oils are also great for a massage. You will want to use a carrier oil when using essential oils for a massage. If not, you will be wasting a lot of oil. Young Living essential oils are very concentrated so it takes very little to receive the benefits. A carrier oil will help spread the essential on the skin. Carrier oils are vegetable oils, for example, Coconut oil, Grapeseed oil, Jojoba oil, Sweet almond, and several more.
The third way to use essential oils are topically. However, there are specific essential oils that are labeled safe for consumption. Young Living has an entire line of Vitality Dietary essential oils. Do not ingest oils from other companies. As previously mentioned, not all oil companies are the same! I love adding drops of vitality oils to my water. Another one to take oils internally is by putting a few drops of oil into a vegetable capsule. Lastly, cooking with vitality adds so much flavor to your favorite recipes. Using vitality oils takes cooking to a whole new level!
